to succeed in this class! You must also be proficient with properties of exponents.
If any of the problems on Factoring, or Simplifying give you trouble,
then you need to spend some time right away brushing up
your basic algebra skills. You can always use the sections recommended in the

as well. Keep reviewing until you can multiply, factor and simplify the polynomials

Last three class meeting lecture notes

The final exam will cover homework problems and lecture examples from
sections 11.3, 11.4, 12.1, 13.2 and 13.3 (HW20b - 23).

I don't have any practice problems so the best way to study is to do the following:

1) Work every homework problem to the point where you can take it and re-work it without
looking at any previous work.
2) Try working all my examples from the lecture notes. Cover my work, do the problem and
3) Try working the text examples that are similar to the homework problems.
4) Find similar problems on the chapter 11, 12 and 13 reviews and tests and try to work
them.
5) Any of the above problems that you are getting the correct answer, take a picture of
your work and either email it or text it to me with your question.
